I love how everyone on the Enterprise is, one by one, pulling Jim into their orbit.*

First it was Pike meeting him in the alternate timeline. Now it’s La’an.

I think a beautiful thing to do would be to have every member of the Enterprise meet Jim in an alternate reality that ends horribly.

Except for Spock. He meets Jim in the real timeline. Because Strange New Worlds is hell bent on proving that the only timeline that should exist is the one where Jim and Spock are Jim and Spock.

And that would be such a gorgeous way to do it.

*Cause really, Jim isn’t entering their orbits, he’s entering Spock’s. Everyone else is just nearby.

Oh gosh. Poor La'an. She was already so isolated. How the hell is she going to get less isolated now that she has yet another thing she is carrying? She saved the timeline by saving someone who becomes awful (who was only a kid at the time and also her freaking ancestor?!). And she isn't allowed to tell anyone ever? The fuck.

I kept thinking that maybe Pelia would come in at the end and at least know that she went to the past but there wasn't that scene so does Pelia not actually remember for some reason? Or is it going to come up later?

snw spoilers la'an noonien singh its so horrible i cant imagine the toll this'll take i really hope they show pelia talking to her about this like maybe la'an doesn't give details but there can be like an understanding that something fucked up happened and she can help her through
